Objectives
“The aim of education is overall development of personality.”
We would like to emphasize here that if we limit ourselves to only literacy it can be very dangerous thing. If literacy is going to mean the loss of our traditional values, of our heritage, of our culture, which is what it is tending to mean in many sections of our society, it would be more damaging than it will be beneficial, we have to see that this programme links our heritage, our time old tradition and our culture with literacy.
As such we have to :
- Help students develop his personality to maximum.
- Provide high level of value oriented education.
- Provide suitable guide lines according to his aptitude through learned
personal.
- Provide encouragement for research and development.
- Organise seminars, training, guest lectures etc.
- Provide them suitable opportunities to get up to date.
- Information in the field of science, literature cultural activities, and information and communication technology like Eduste, Head start and IRI programmes.
Mission
It has been envisaged by the education commission (1964-66) that of all the factors the quality of education i.e. The quality
competence and devotion of the teachers are under significance. Albeit these after all depends finally on the quality of training that is provided to them .
Until adoption of N.P.E this support in the area of elementary education is provided largely at national and state level only by the institutions like national council of educational research and training.
National. Institute of educational planning and administration and state institute of education at the national level and the state resource center the state level there are elementary teacher education institution , but their activities were limited to pre service teacher education .As such their rules were limited there it has been only out dated teaching method and out dated course of study.
Elementary and adult education system was adequately supported by the national and state level agencies only by the time of adoption of NPE. As such observed addition of third district level tries to support the system in the form of DIET with the introduction of this third layer of support system expectations of qualitative coverage at DIETs would be closer to the field and is alive to the problems and its needs.
Now we have only to have a firm determination to help the students acquire a crystal purity display the variegate phenomena which may gyrate in equipoise within them.

Sidhi district has been is an educational Institution functioning as basic training Institution up to 1973 and was there after upgraded to district Institute of education and training for the subsequent phase of sheme . Sidhi is
situated in the north east part of Madhya pardesh.It is a tourist area where there we can visit SON GHARIYAL in son River It is the area were black deers are found It is also called the birth place of Birbal on of the Nav Ratnas of Akbar. As far as ,as industry is concerned it has an ample store of fine coal of grade A at Singrauli
In short is has a plenty of panoramic views for tourism.
